Dr. Broadus gave a fantastic overview of the broad umbrella that defines the transgender community to my human sexuality class. He helped us to recognize the complex array of political and advocacy issues faced by the community. My students commented that they really enjoyed his humor and candid way of sharing his story. For most students, he is the first transgender person they have ever known. I’m grateful for his tireless advocacy and willingness to educate people from all walks of life.

I met Kylar many years ago at a community meeting and saw his passion and drive for the transgender community. I appreciate legal minds such as that of Kylar, who uses the law to educate and enlighten the world about the transgender journey.
